One of the most controversial cases in the LaLiga this season was the expulsion of referee Jimmy Latrey of Oscar Plano of Valladolid player, after a mistake committed by French winger Osman Dembele, Barcelona winger.

The direct dismissal case came in the 79th minute when the result was a goalless draw. This dismissal constituted a turning point in the match and Barca scored the winning goal, which Dembele himself scored in the deadly time of the match.

According to the Spanish arbitration expert Oliver Andujar, "The expulsion was cruel and unfair to Plano because the mistake he committed against Dembele did not deserve a red card. It is true that he dropped him to the ground, but the error was not so violent."

The more I watch this the more I think the ref sees Dembele rolling around after slamming his head into the defenders knee so pulls out the red solely based on his reaction rather than the actual foul ... then wtf is VAR for?!

And what will shock Barca fans is that the goal scored by Dembele should be canceled, according to Andujar.

And the former Spanish international referee says, "The mouse should have canceled the goal, because 10 seconds before the goal, Jordi Alba, Barca back, made a mistake on Valladolid defender Rocky Mesel ... The goal should not be counted."

It is noteworthy that Barcelona - who will be on a date with a fiery summit in the face of its traditional rivals Real Madrid next Saturday - raised its score to 65 points, to become only one point from leaders Atletico Madrid, and two points behind the third-placed Real Madrid.
