According to information in the electronic database of the lower house of parliament, the abolition of indexation had a negative impact on the financial situation of pensioners and led to a significant decrease in the purchasing power of citizens.
The authors of the bill propose to introduce indexation from January 1, 2022.
According to their estimates, the adoption of the bill will lead to additional expenses of the Pension Fund in the amount of about 400 billion rubles.
Earlier, the press secretary of the Russian president Dmitry Peskov said that the government was actively involved in the topic of pensions for working pensioners, but no decisions were made.
