According to him, movement along the channel will be restored "in a maximum of 30 minutes."
It is noted that the incident took place in the south of the Suez Canal near the entrance to the Big Bitter Lake.
On March 23, ships were blocked in the Suez Canal area after one of the world's largest container ships, Ever Given, ran aground, blocking the channel.
On March 29, Egyptian authorities announced the unblocking of the channel.
