Every day of the week at 8.15 am, Sonia Mabrouk receives a topical guest in the morning of Europe 1.

On Wednesday, Michel Philippin, a French national who accompanied his wife until death in 2014, thanks to a Swiss association, answers his questions during a parliamentary debate on euthanasia.

It is a lively and passionate debate which takes place Thursday in the National Assembly: the deputies will examine in a controversial climate a text creating a right to euthanasia for people suffering from an incurable pathology.

However, due to a large number of amendments tabled by part of the opposition, the debate may not go to a conclusion.

Michel Philippin, he made the choice, in 2014, to accompany his wife towards death with the help of a Swiss association.

The man will be Sonia Mabrouk's guest on Wednesday morning at 8:15 am.

He will testify to his gesture and deliver his vision on this fight.

RDV tomorrow 8:15 am @ Europe1 My guest, unlike Michel Houellebecq, believes that legalizing euthanasia constitutes the essence of any great civilization.

Michel Philippin, a French citizen, accompanied his wife 6 years ago towards the end of her life in Switzerland.
