The Bordeaux vaccinodrome will open its doors on Friday at the Parc des Expos in Bordeaux.
Appointments start this Tuesday, from noon on the Doctolib site, jointly announce the prefecture, the Regional Health Agencies (ARS), Bordeaux Métropole and the city of Bordeaux.
On 3,000 m2, the mega vaccination center will officially start its activity on Friday at 8 a.m.
It will be open seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
It will welcome free of charge and only on registration, initially, people aged 70 and over as well as people over 50 suffering from co-morbidities.
Doctors, nurses, pharmacists, firefighters and administrative staff will be mobilized to offer vaccination to 1,500 people per day.
Several other vaccination centers
Located in Hall 1 of the Bordeaux Exhibition Center, the site is accessible by public transport (tram line C; bus 15, 25, 37 and 73), by bicycle or V3 and by car.
Parking is free.
This new center is added to those of the municipalities of the Metropolis, in particular the intercommunal center of Saint-Médard-en-Jalles bringing together the municipalities of Eysines, Le Haillan, Le Taillan-Médoc, Saint-Médard-en-Jalles and Saint-Aubin de Médoc.
