Drebber / Barver (dpa / lni) - Four people were injured after snow and hail in two car accidents in the Diepholz district.
As the police announced, on Monday evening a driver initially skidded on the smooth B51 near Drebber and onto the opposite lane, where his car collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Both drivers were trapped in their cars by the force of the impact.
The ambulance service then took them to hospitals.
Shortly thereafter, just before Barver, another driver skid on an icy road and crashed into a tree.
The driver was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
His passenger was slightly injured in the accident.
