A Canadian child who went to the dentist to get a swaying tooth accidentally got a'world record'.

On the 2nd local time, UPI News and other foreign media reported that 9-year-old Luke, who lives in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the protagonist of'the world's longest teething.'

On September 17, 2019, Luke, who was eight at the time, went to the dentist with his family to remove teeth and surprised everyone.

This is because the length of the missing teeth reached 2.6cm.

In an unexpected sight, Luke's older sister Lia made a clever proposal: "I could set a world record with these teething teeth."

Accordingly, the family prepared the necessary materials such as the original image of the extracted tooth and a dental certificate, and applied for registration to the'Guinness World Records'.

After a long review,

'Guinness World Records' recently announced the results of the screening that Luke's teeth are'the longest teeth in the world'.

The protagonist of the previous world record was Curtis, a 10-year-old from the United States, who pulled about 2.4 cm of teeth in February 2019.

"I can't forget the shock of seeing Luke's teething teeth for the first time," said Luke's father, Bolton. "It's amazing that it's actually the longest teeth in the world."

Luke, who became a celebrity in elementary school, plans to decorate the'milk teeth exhibition hall' in the house as soon as the certificate of registration for the'Guinness World Records' arrives.
