The situation with coronavirus infection in Russia has remained stable for several weeks in a row.

This was stated by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin during a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council to combat the spread of COVID-19.

He noted that in a number of countries in America, Europe and Asia, the number of cases of COVID-19 increased again, the third wave of the pandemic was announced, and some states had to take quarantine measures.

“A number of experts warn of possible risks of worsening the situation, including in Russia.

It is important to prevent such a scenario in our country, ”Mishustin said.

The head of the Cabinet instructed Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, together with Rospotrebnadzor, scientists and doctors, to prepare and propose additional measures to protect the population from coronavirus by April 9.

“There is no further decrease in the incidence, the virus has not receded.

It is very important to continue to take precautions.

We need to do everything possible to protect citizens from this dangerous disease, ”he explained.

Mikhail Mishustin also urged Russians to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

As the Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko noted, domestic vaccines are stably supplied to the regions, where five thousand stationary vaccination points and more than 1,360 mobile ones have been deployed.

In turn, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said that the international database contains almost 1 million SARS-CoV-2 genomes.

The most common in the world is the "British" strain, its circulation is noted in 130 countries, the "South African" - in 80, "Brazilian" - in 45.

"Found (in Russia. -

Earlier, the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, in an interview with Izvestia, said that the restrictive measures introduced in the country helped to reduce the spread of the "British" mutation SARS-CoV-2.

Popova also noted that unidentified strains of infection are observed on the territory of Russia, but so far there is no reason to talk about their epidemiological danger.

“My colleagues and I are not supporters of calling any strain Russian.

If we talk about the same British version, then it was described back in September last year, and received the name "British" at the end of 2020.

And more for political than medical reasons.

I don't see much sense in giving each mutation its own name, ”said the head of Rospotrebnadzor.

In turn, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov, answering questions from journalists, explained that it is too early to talk about the presence of antibodies to coronavirus in Vladimir Putin.

“The vaccination cycle has not yet been completed.

You know that the first component of the vaccination has been introduced to the president, so it is too early to talk about it, ”the Kremlin official said.

The head of state got himself vaccinated against the coronavirus on March 23.

Peskov reported that Putin had no adverse reactions ten days after the first injection.

At the same time, not only citizens of the Russian Federation, but also foreigners undergo the vaccination procedure.

For example, in Moscow, Alessandro Ravaglioli, an Italian politician from the Northern League party, was vaccinated with the Russian vaccine.

“If I had to wait for my turn in Italy, I would have been vaccinated, maybe in the fall,” explained the Italian.

On April 6, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, received an injection with the first component of the Sputnik V vaccine.

At the same time, the drug was produced by the Karaganda pharmaceutical plant.
