"The appellate court left the decision of the district court unchanged, the complaints were not satisfied," the Moscow City Court said.
At the end of February, the Basmanny Court of Moscow extended the arrest until May 28.
Romanov was detained on the night of December 28-29.
He was charged under three counts: suicidal tendencies, arbitrariness, and offending religious feelings.
