Heidenheim (dpa / lsw) - After two defeats in a row, 1. FC Heidenheim wants to return to the road to success in the catch-up game of the 25th matchday against Holstein Kiel on Tuesday (6.30 p.m. / Sky).

"After HSV and Fürth, the next team of this caliber is coming," said coach Frank Schmidt the day before the duel with the fourth in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The issue of promotion should have been dealt with for the FCH at the latest with the 0-1 defeat against Fürth on Saturday.

But Schmidt did not want to grieve for long.

"It always hurts when you lose twice in a row - even if there were two top teams," said the coach.

“Now we have the opportunity to do better.

So it's good that we're going to play again soon. "

The Kielers had "their own DNA in the game structure," explained Schmidt.

"You are very variable there, but also fraught with risk."

Heidenheim has to do without Norman Theuerkauf and Andreas Geipl, who each received their fifth yellow card against Fürth.
