The report cited information from the US Business Insider website that a low-level hacker forum exposed the personal data of 533 million Facebook users on the 3rd. These users involved 106 countries and regions. The leaked information included users’ Facebook account names, Location, birthday, email address, etc.
However, Facebook said in a statement on the 3rd that the above-mentioned data comes from an information leak that occurred in 2019 and that it had been repaired in August of that year.
