More than 5,400 patients were in French intensive care units on Monday, according to the latest data published by Public Health France.

In 24 hours, 94 additional people were therefore counted in these services.

Since the start of the epidemic, the Covid-19 has killed 96,847 people in the country.

According to the latest data released by Public Health France, the number of patients in hospital intensive care units continued to increase over the past 24 hours on Monday, with 94 more people in these services and 551 new admissions on the same amount of time.

5,433 patients were therefore in intensive care on Friday.
