Two days after the burglary suffered by Bernard and Dominique Tapie, photos unveiled by the family show the violence of the thugs who entered the couple's home, in Seine-et-Marne.

The investigation is still ongoing to find the culprits, who are for the moment still at large.

A bloodshot eye, swollen cheeks and lips for Bernard Tapie, a "black eye" and a blue nose from the blows for Dominique Tapie, his wife.

The photos revealing the injuries of the Tapie couple prove the violence of the burglary they suffered on the night from Saturday to Sunday, in which they were beaten and tied up.

An investigation was also opened of the heads of organized robbery and kidnapping.

Tied up with electric cables

An aggravating circumstance severely punished by law: the four thugs, still on the run for the time being, risk 20 years of criminal imprisonment.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the hooded and gloved men entered the couple's home, in Combs-la-Ville, in Seine-et-Marne, through one of the windows of the rooms located on the first floor.

They surprised Dominique and Bernard Tapie in their sleep.

The former businessman was stunned by a baton and tied up with electric cables, before attacking Dominique Tapie.

According to one of her sons, she was dragged by the hair from room to room to reveal the location of an alleged treasure.

But they found nothing.

Finally, the four attackers left with two watches and jewelry.

A "particularly abject" act

Asked on the subject, Sunday in the

Grand Rendez-vous Europe 1 / Les Échos / Cnews

, the Minister Delegate for Citizenship, Marlène Schiappa, assured that the judicial police were mobilized to find the attackers.

"To make a burglary, to tie up people is already particularly unworthy beyond being obviously illegal", reacted the minister.

"But when we know, and it is common knowledge, that Bernard Tapie is sick, I find it particularly abject", she continues, sending a message of support to Bernard Tapie and his wife.
