"As a result of the measures taken in the city of Kislovodsk, a Russian citizen, born in 1996, who had previously been convicted of ordinary crimes, was detained, who was preparing to attack law enforcement officers using improvised explosive devices in the interests of international terrorist organizations," the statement says.

At the same time, a search was carried out at the address of the criminal's residence, during which components for the manufacture of an improvised explosive device, explosives, damaging elements, and extremist literature were seized.
