According to the country's Central Election Commission, voter turnout reached 40.18% by 17:00, more than 2.6 million people took part in the voting.

The CEC also noted that it was decided to fine two Internet publications that published exit poll data on their pages during the day, in violation of the law.

On April 4, parliamentary elections are held in Bulgaria, in which 22 parties and eight coalitions participate.

6895 candidates apply for 240 deputy seats.
