Berlin (dpa / bb) - Three cars burned on early Easter Sunday in Berlin-Mitte and Neukölln.

Shortly before 1 a.m., a witness in Travemünder Strasse heard several deflagrations and saw a burning car, as the police announced.

The fire brigade put out the flames, the car burned out almost completely.

About an hour later, another car burned in the Kestenzeile in the Neukölln district of Buckow.

The fire also spread to a car parked next to it.

The police suspected arson in all cases.

In Berlin parked vehicles are set on fire by strangers over and over again.
