, the minister delegate in charge of citizenship, Marlène Schiappa, insisted on the "very strong action" of the government to put an end to certain clandestine gatherings and meetings in spite of measures to curb the Covid-19 pandemic.

In total, "5.5 million checks" have been carried out "since December," said the minister, adding that "several hundred establishments such as drinking establishments and illegal restaurants" have been closed by the forces of the 'order "who have very vigilant".
