Ahlerstedt (dpa / lni) - A 54-year-old cyclist was hit head-on by a car in Ahlerstedt (Stade district) and seriously injured.
The 23-year-old driver of the car suddenly turned left into the oncoming traffic, where the cyclist came towards her, the police said.
The accident happened on Easter Sunday in an industrial park.
The 54-year-old hit the windshield.
He was brought to a Hamburg clinic by rescue helicopter.
His bike landed on a fence as a result of the impact on a power box.
The driver suffered a shock but was uninjured.
