The high pressure field present on Italy weakens due to the transit of two cloudy systems, one coming from north-eastern Europe associated with fresh air, the other from the western Mediterranean with more temperate and humid currents;

all this determines a moderate instability in the central-southern regions and in part of the north-west.   


Northern

Easter

- irregular cloudiness until late morning / mid-day and subsequently thinning out over Lombardy, Liguria, Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, with local rains in the night on the hills and reliefs of western Piedmont;

clear or partly cloudy in the rest of the north except for local thickening until late morning.

Center and Sardinia

- variable cloudiness at times intense over Sardinia with isolated showers and associated thunderstorms on the eastern and southern sectors, improving from mid-day on the east and from late afternoon also on the south;

residual rains or thunderstorms in the night over Lazio and Abruzzo, rapidly improving during the morning with increasingly greater clearings;

ample and prevalent sunshine in the remaining regions.

In the evening low clouds rising over Lazio.

South and Sicily

 - slightly or partially cloudy in Sicily and central-southern Calabria, with clouds rising in the morning and which in the afternoon may be associated with occasional and brief showers or thunderstorms on the Calabrian and eastern Sicily reliefs;

many clouds initially over the rest of the south, with isolated rains or thunderstorms over Salento until mid-day while until the early morning local rainfall will also be possible over the rest of Puglia, Basilicata and northern Calabria in a context of general improvement with increasingly large clearings during the afternoon.

Temperatures

- stationary minimums in eastern Sicily, western Campania and southern sectors of Sardinia and Lazio, generally decreasing in the rest of Italy, especially in the north-eastern regions, Emilia-Romagna, Marche, Abruzzo, Molise and northern Puglia;

stationary maximums in South Tyrol, the Marche coasts and west Sardinia, generally decreasing in the rest of Italy and less marked in the north.

Winds 

- moderate northerly on major islands and central-southern peninsular, with further reinforcements especially on the Adriatic coastal areas, on the Ionian peninsular ones and on northern Sardinia;

weak eastern to the north with residual reinforcements up to half day on the coasts of the upper Adriatic.

Seas

- very rough Adriatic, Ionian, Tyrrhenian and Sardinian sea, with slow decreasing wave motion on the Adriatic and on the Sardinian sea;

moved strait of Sicily, channel of Sardinia and Ligurian Sea, the latter locally very rough until mid-day, and tending to very moved strait of Sicily and channel of Sardinia.

North 

- morning that will see low clouds in a decisive increase over Liguria and haze in transit over the rest of the north.

From late afternoon / evening cloudiness increasingly consistent over the Alpine and Pre-Alpine sector.

Weak rain showers in the evening over eastern Liguria and scattered rainfall over the northernmost Alpine areas, with snow level initially around 1800 meters and a sharp decline at night.

Center and Sardinia

- almost clear skies, except for low clouds also extended until late morning and in subsequent rapid dissolution on Lazio and Umbria and some more consistent densification during the central hours on Sardinia.

Veils in transit from the north over the peninsular regions in the afternoon / evening and with low clouds rising from late evening / early night over Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio.

South and Sicily

- very cloudy in Sicily and Calabria, with isolated rains or thunderstorms in the morning over western Sicily while in the afternoon the possibility of isolated phenomena will affect a large part of the island while it will be scarce or null in Calabria;

ample sunshine prevailing over the rest of the south.

Temperatures

- minimum decreasing on major islands, central-southern peninsular, plains and hills of Lombardy and Piedmont, plains and coasts of Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, stationary on Liguria, Valle d'Aosta, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and northern Veneto, a slight increase in Trentino-Alto Adige and the Emilia-Romagna Apennines;

maximum decreases in Sicily, Calabria, west Sardinia, northern Lazio, Tuscan coasts and central-eastern Liguria, stationary in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, generally increasing in the rest of Italy.

Winds

- moderate northern

winds

decreasing in the south and on Sicily, weak variables on the rest of the country except for residual reinforcements in the morning on Sardinia and the central peninsula.

Between afternoon and evening the wind will become moderate in the west on Sardinia, from weak to moderate in the south on Liguria, Emilia-Romagna and central peninsular regions.

Seas

- slightly wavy upper Adriatic and Ligurian sea with rising wave motion;

the Ionian Sea, the Strait of Sicily, the southern Tyrrhenian and the Sardinian channel are very moving, with a slow decreasing wave motion;

the remaining seas moved, with a decreasing wave motion on the lower Adriatic and increasing, by the end of the day, on the sea of ​​Sardinia and the central-northern Tyrrhenian Sea.
