Berlin (dpa) - A huge heart formed from candles reminded of the 3082 corona deaths in Berlin on Saturday on the Tempelhofer Feld.
On the initiative of the Evangelical Church District Tempelhof-Schöneberg, hundreds of red candles for the heart were set up at one end of the northern runway of the old airport.
In the middle, white candles marked the numbers for the number of the dead.
"Behind every number there is a person who died of Corona and with him those who mourn him," said Anna Ziegenhagen, head of the Evangelical Advice Center for Mourners, in a message.
These people would not be seen enough.
