According to CNN, a report of a shooting was filed at a family home in Wilmington, North Carolina at the dawn of the 3rd local time.
When the police were dispatched, 7 people were attacked, and 3 of them were killed.
It is not known how much of the other four were injured.
It is said that a party was being held in the house where the shooting took place.
The police are investigating, including tracking the suspect.
No one is currently detained for this incident, and no motives are known to be confirmed.
In the United States, a series of shootings took place last month in Atlanta, Georgia, killing eight people, including four Korean women, followed by a firearms disaster at a supermarket in Boulder, Colorado, killing 10 people.
