Brandshagen (dpa / mv) - A 17-year-old moped driver was seriously injured in an accident on the B 105 near Brandshagen in Western Pomerania-Rügen.
His moped collided with the car of an 81-year-old driver on Friday evening, as the police announced on Saturday.
The 17-year-old wanted to cross the street with another 18-year-old moped driver from the Brandshagen exit.
According to the first findings of the police, he overlooked the woman's car for an unexplained cause.
According to the information, the 17-year-old probably took the right of way and drove into the side of the car.
He was taken to a hospital seriously injured.
The 18-year-old moped driver as well as the car driver and her two passengers were uninjured.
