Windsor (AP) - The popular sport of the pandemic does not stop at the royals either: Queen Elizabeth II met her son Prince Charles for a walk in Windsor.

The palace published two photos on Twitter for the Easter weekend in which the two royals can be seen in a casual look in front of daffodils in the garden of the Frogmore House near Windsor Castle.

The Queen (94) - while walking in a long green coat and a colorful headscarf - has been largely isolated in Windsor for months.

Her husband Prince Philip (99) has also returned there after spending several weeks in the hospital.

After months of strict contact restrictions, families and friends in England are now allowed to meet again - but only outside and in a circle of up to six people or two households.
