Iserlohn (dpa) - The entire team of the Iserlohn Roosters ice hockey club has to be quarantined after a positive corona test.

The result occurred during the regular series of tests, after which, after consulting the health department, all players, coaches and supervisors were immediately sent to quarantine at home.

The club from the German Ice Hockey League announced this on Saturday.

The quarantine will initially apply until Easter Monday, then further tests will follow.

The planned DEL games of the Roosters on this Sunday at ERC Ingolstadt (7.30 p.m.) and on Monday (6.30 p.m.) at the Straubing Tigers have been canceled.

The catch-up dates have not yet been set.

Iserlohn's sporting director Christian Hommel emphasized in the message: “We accept this measure.

The health of everyone involved in gaming is still the top priority. "
