Leinsweiler (dpa / lrs) - A 52-year-old man landed on Saturday in the southern Weinstrasse district with his paraglider in a treetop.
According to the police, he was unharmed.
The reason for the premature end of the sightseeing flight was still unclear.
The air sportsman from the Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis called the rescue service and was rescued.
Height rescuers, volunteer fire brigades, the German Red Cross and the police were involved in the operation.
