Wiesbaden (dpa / lrs) - Promoted 1. FC Saarbrücken has gambled away a two-goal lead in the 3rd football league and did not get beyond a draw at SV Wehen Wiesbaden.
The Saarlanders missed it in the 2-2 (0-0) on Saturday to escape the Hessians on four points.
The FCS looked like the sure winner after a double from attacker Julian Schmidt (56th minute / 65th), but then the hosts showed great morale and equalized thanks to Phillip Tietz, who also scored twice (84th / 90th +2) , still out.
In the table, Saarbrücken (46 points) and SVWW (45) remain close together.
With the promotion to the 2nd division, it should no longer work for both teams.
Dynamo Dresden (58), Hansa Rostock (57) and FC Ingolstadt (57) are already clearly ahead in the table.
