03 April 2021 Jorge Martin on Ducati Pramac will start from pole position in the Doha MotoGP Grand Prix, at the Losail circuit. With a time of 1.53.106 the young Spanish driver, in his second race in the top class, preceded his teammate the French Johan Zarco by 0.157. Third time for Maverick Vinales on an official Yamaha, at 0.161.
Fourth time for the first official Ducati, that of the Australian Jack Miller at 0.197. Fifth was the French Fabio Quartararo on the other factory Yamaha, 0.363 behind Martin. Sesto Francesco 'Pecco' Bagnaia on the other official Ducati, at 0.548. Franco Morbidelli on Yamaha Petronas did not go beyond the tenth time, at 0.688, preceded by the world champion Joan Mir on Suzuki. Tomorrow the race at 19 Italian time.
