As the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk said, at night in the village of Verkh-Tula, Novosibirsk region, senior police lieutenant Alexei Tolstykin and police lieutenant Konstantin Nesterenko, while on a patrol route, noticed a fire in a residential building.
“Police officers immediately reported the incident to the emergency services, the duty unit of their unit and took measures to save people.
They woke up the sleeping residents, carried four young children out of the burning building and helped two women get out, ”she said.
According to her, the traffic police inspectors took people to their relatives, and then returned to the scene of the fire to help the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Thanks to the timely and decisive actions of the traffic police inspectors Alexei Tolstykin and Konstantin Nesterenko, no one was hurt,” Volk emphasized.
Earlier, the newspaper Izvestia, citing the Ministry of Internal Affairs Media, wrote that in Bashkiria, the district authorized police captain Konstantin Korolkov, who saved an 86-year-old woman in a fire, would be awarded.
