Amid the continuing US-China conflict, foreign ministers of South Korea and China met in about four months to start talks in China.

Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Xiamen, Fujian Province, at 12:30 pm our time today (3rd), and immediately entered the meeting with only a small number of people present.

After the minority talks between the two sides, there will be extended talks and luncheons, and Minister Eui-Yong Eui will leave Xiamen this afternoon as soon as the talks are over.

This is the first time the Korea-China diplomatic ministers' meeting was held in Seoul on November 26 last year.

At the meeting, Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong and Director Wang Yi will discuss the situation on the Korean Peninsula, including the North Korean nuclear issue, as well as the response to Corona 19 and bilateral issues such as the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year.
