In the United Kingdom, the drug regulator announced that thirty cases of blood clots had been identified in people who had received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Among them, seven died.
Other European countries have reported cases of thrombosis such as France, Germany or the Netherlands.
The British agency is trying to determine whether these deaths are directly related to the vaccine.

A total of thirty cases of blood clots have been reported in the UK.
Of these people, seven have died out of more than 18 million Britons who have received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
So the message from the UK Medicines Agency is clear: "
The benefits of this vaccine continue to outweigh any risk
."
Not unusual
The regulator indicates that an investigation is underway to determine whether these cases of thrombosis are directly linked to the AstraZeneca vaccine.
But he already believes that the number of these side effects is not unusual in the context of any vaccination.
Several countries have reported similar cases of blood clots and have taken measures to temporarily suspend the vaccine.
It is still today reserved for over 55s in France.
Official support for AstraZeneca
The United Kingdom, for its part, continues to support the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine, developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford, on English soil.
The drug agency asks the British to "
continue to be vaccinated
".
