Rheinfelden (dpa / lsw) - After a police check in Rheinfelden (Lörrach district), a 24-year-old man tried to escape in handcuffs.
As the police announced on Saturday, the officers checked the young driver on Thursday evening and noticed that the man was under the influence of drugs.
They handcuffed him and took him to the police station.
When getting out of the patrol car, the 24-year-old ran towards the train station, the officers caught up with him after a few meters and took him to the police station.
The police found 70 grams of marijuana in his car and an airsoft gun in the apartment.
He now has to answer for violating the Narcotics Act and driving under the influence of drugs.
