The Taiwan Railways 408 Shulin to Taitung Taroko train derailed at the Daqingshui Tunnel in Hualien on the 2nd.   After the accident, the Hualien Fire Department dispatched 35 people and the Yilan Fire Department assisted 14 people in the rescue.
