Paris (AP) - The French champions Paris Saint-Germain will probably have to do without Marco Verratti in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League next Wednesday (9 p.m. / Sky) at the German record champions FC Bayern.
The 28-year-old Italian and top performer tested positive for the corona virus after the international phase in World Cup qualification, as PSG announced on Twitter on Friday evening.
Verratti will respect the quarantine rules, the club wrote, without giving any further details.
The midfielder had already tested positive earlier this year.
