Sensors with laser technology occasionally triggered false alarms when the sun fell into the main pier at a certain angle.
The affected areas had to be cleared.
The fire brigade can now use the new cameras to check the situation in the event of a pre-alarm so that evacuation can be avoided in the event of a false alarm, as they said.
The solution is to work closely with the supervisory authorities and other responsible bodies.
The company emphasized that all steps would be determined together.

Since the beginning of March, the sensors in question have been switched off for about an hour in the late afternoon every day - when the sun is so low that false alarms are possible.
However, the operators emphasized that additional systems always ensured seamless fire monitoring throughout the terminal.

The systems have been modified so that they actually work fully automatically.
