At a press conference on Maundy Thursday, Minister of Social Affairs Lena Hallengren (S) informed that the original plan, where all adults in Sweden would have been offered a vaccine before mid-summer, will not hold.

- We are all so tired of this now, we just want our vaccine.

I think you feel frustrated and I think it applies to everyone, says Britt Åkerlind, infection control doctor in Östergötland.

Right now, it is everyone who is 70 years and older who is in line in the county to get a vaccine as it is delivered.

- As soon as we get doses, they will go out, says Britt Åkerlind.
