This is what Walter Biot stated before the Rome investigating judge in justifying the decision to make use of the right not to answer. The soldier, defended by the lawyer Roberto De Vita, contested the reconstruction of the affair but "asked for time to gather ideas" and therefore be able to face the interrogation with the investigators who accuse him of espionage.
