Leipzig (AP) - Marcel Sabitzer has downplayed the importance of the Bundesliga top game between RB Leipzig and leaders Bayern Munich.

“Of course the signs are that we would be far away if we lost and that if we win we would come close again.

But in the end it's just a game.

We'll see how the next season goes, ”said the Saxon midfielder to the“ kicker ”(Thursday).

“Now the one game is just around the corner, and we trust ourselves to win.

But that doesn't mean we'll win the title, ”said the 27-year-old Austrian before the game on Saturday (6.30 p.m. / Sky).

Leipzig is four points behind in the home game on matchday 27 of the Bundesliga.

FC Bayern have to do without striker Robert Lewandowski, who injured his knee during the international break.

Defenders Jérôme Boateng and Alphonso Davies are also suspended.

Leipzig can possibly rely on Dayot Upamecano again, who trained with the team on Wednesday after his muscle injury in his thigh and may be able to play against his future employer.
