As reported on the agency's website, a criminal case was opened on March 24, 2010 over the disappearance of a mother of three children, who worked as a doctor in one of the city's maternity hospitals.

The father of the missing woman in December 2020, during a reception with the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, said that he still does not know what happened to his daughter, since her body was not found.

On behalf of Bastrykin, the investigators analyzed the testimony of previously questioned witnesses and revealed new details.

In particular, it was established that on the day of her disappearance, the woman did not even leave the house.

It is noted that the husband of the missing was detained and interrogated.

According to the investigation, on February 23, 2010, the accused murdered his wife during a quarrel in an apartment in one of the houses on Chapygin Street, after which he dismembered her body, parts of which he threw into garbage containers.

Then he turned to the police with a statement that the victim allegedly left home for work on the specified day and was missing.

The question of the arrest of the man is currently being resolved.
