The Parisian handball players outclassed Celje 37 to 24 on Thursday night in Slovenia in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League, and are heading straight to the quarter-finals of the queen competition of European handball.

To reach the quarter-finals, the Parisians can afford to lose the return match of 13 goals (or 12 if Celje scores more than 37), scheduled in seven days in the Parisian room Pierre de Coubertin.

In case of qualification, Luka Karabatic's teammates will face the winner of the round of 16 between the Germans in Kiel and the Hungarians in Szeged, the European champions having won the first leg in Hungary 33-28 on Wednesday evening.
