Three people were arrested Thursday evening in the Val-d'Oise after the death of an individual following a brawl between young people from a so-called "sensitive" district of the town of Pontoise and travelers.

Three other people were injured in circumstances that were still very unclear on Thursday evening.

A fight left one dead and three injured this Thursday evening in a so-called "sensitive" district of the Pontoise commune, located in the Val-d'Oise in the Paris region.

Originally, it was a theft of two wheels that would have sparked off hostilities.

An individual killed by gunfire

Members of the community of "Travelers" came to the city in question to try to recover one of their motorcycles.

They have also spotted it.

But a clash then broke out around 9:30 p.m. with young residents of the neighborhood.

One of them was killed by gunfire.

Three other people were injured in circumstances that were still particularly unclear on Thursday evening.

In total, three suspects were arrested by the police.
