At the same time, Diaz-Canel noted the success of the vaccination campaign for the island's population.

As TASS clarifies, on March 31, 1,051 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Cuba, which was the highest daily rate for the republic since the beginning of the pandemic.

The total number of infected has reached 75,263.

Earlier it became known that Cuba plans to start mass vaccination of the population against coronavirus in June.
