Park Joo-min, a controversial Democratic Party member who caused controversy over the'monthly rent increase', stepped down from the post of Seoul Mayor Park Young-sun as head of the camp.

Rep. Park posted a statement on Facebook and said, "I will resign from the post of Public Relations Digital Headquarters at Seoul Mayor Park Young-seon."

Rep. Park said, "I take heavy reprimands from the people and the party, and once again apologize for the disappointment that the people may have felt," he said. "Although I put down my job, I will not give up any role I can play for Park’s victory."

Rep. Park, the representative sponsor of the amendment to the Housing Lease Protection Act, signed a new lease contract for his apartment (84.95㎡) in Sindang-dong, Jung-gu, in July last year, about a month before the passage of the'Lease 3 Act'. I set it in a circle.

The existing contract was KRW 300 million in deposit and KRW 1 million in monthly rent, but when applying the 2.5% conversion rate to jeon-to-month in September last year, criticism was raised because the increase would reach 26.6%.
