This is the building on Urmakaregatan 2 near Ätran where sediments have been discovered in the ground, which means that safety cannot be guaranteed.
The region has therefore decided to evacuate the building where the Palliative care department, the Hearing Clinic and the Interpreting Center conduct operations.
Halland Hospital in Kungsbacka
A total of six patients who care in the palliative care ward and their relatives were moved to Halland Hospital in Kungsbacka on Wednesday evening, where similar activities are conducted.
The patients at the hearing clinic will be received at another location and the Interpreting Center will be moved to Varberg.

The staff followed, so the patients get the same staff as they are used to, says Madelaine Gustafsson, former area manager for local health care in Halland, about the move of the patients.

Further assessments of the land will now be made and a design has begun.
"We have already last year carried out an investigation and measures on another part of this property and as part of that measure, an investigation was started for the part against Ätran, and the report now shows risks in stability," says Lina Brandelius, department manager Regional properties.
