Defender Albaslan Ozturk made the event in Turkey during the past hours, after appearing in a video clip, jumping hysterically, happy to hear the news of his being summoned to the Turkish national team.

The Turkish club Goztepe, for which Ozturk plays, published a video clip showing the player entering the team’s headquarters, speaking on the phone, before he started jumping, happy to hear the news of his being summoned to attend the Turkish national team camp during the international break for the month of March.

The video clip was widespread in Turkey and reached more than 1.7 million views.

The Turkish club collected a number of the most prominent shots of the 27-year-old Ozturk to pay tribute to him, after he received the news of his being summoned to the Turkish national team for the first time in his professional career.

The player re-posted the clip through his account on the Instagram site, and confirmed that his reaction expresses the joy of achieving the dream of childhood.

The call came the day before the match between Turkey and Latvia, which ended yesterday in a 3-3 draw, and the defender remained on the bench, and coach Shinul Gunes did not include him in the confrontation.

Turkey tops the Group G ranking with 7 points, one point ahead of the Netherlands, Montenegro, and Norway.
