Ludwigshafen (dpa / lrs) - In a cellar fire in Ludwigshafen, three people were injured on Wednesday night.
When the emergency services arrived, they noticed a lot of smoke, as the fire brigade announced on Wednesday morning.
The fire was quickly extinguished.
According to the police, a 64-year-old and a 59-year-old woman suffered smoke inhalation.
A 39-year-old burned her forearms while attempting to extinguish the fire.
The single-family house is currently not habitable.
The amount of damage incurred was initially unclear.
The police assume that a technical defect caused the fire on Wednesday night.
