Lars Hjälmered (M) is far from alone in criticizing the government and the handling of short-term support.

On social media, several Riksdag politicians have written outraged posts during the day.

"

It is an unacceptable scandal what happened,

" writes Camilla Brodin (KD), member of the business committee on Facebook and continues:

The corona support that the government has promised Sweden's entrepreneurs does not seem to be fulfilled.

We have repeatedly during the pandemic come up with proposals and asked questions to the government.

But now the measure is soon up

. ”

"At least provocative"

Helena Lindahl (C), also a member of the Business Committee, is very critical of the government's handling of short-term support, despite the fact that her party cooperates with the government through the January agreement:

"

When I and the Center Party asked a written question about this to Minister of Trade and Industry Ibrahim Baylan, only a snowball came in response with bureaucratic formulations about what the regulations look like ...

"

"

The whole thing is provocative to say the least, and if we are to have living companies after the crisis we are now in, then such passive action by the government will not suffice."

Open to changed regulations

Minister of Trade and Industry Ibrahim Baylan also reacted to the revelation in the Assignment review.

- I became worried when I realized that appeals had been piled up instead of rushing them to the administrative court.

On the other hand, he believes that there is nothing to indicate that there would be any systematic problems with the regulations that the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth is set to follow.

- Now this is the subject of a court process and then the government according to the form of government is prevented from interfering. But I am open to making changes to the regulations if necessary.

Have continued confidence

The Minister of Trade and Industry has now summoned the Director General of the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth to the ministry for a hearing on the handling of short-term support.

Do you still have confidence in the authority's management?

- The government always has confidence in our directors general until otherwise announced, says Ibrahim Baylan (S).
