Hamburg (dpa / lno) - After the accidental death of a motorcyclist on Monday in the Hamburg district of Neugraben-Fischbek, the police are looking for witnesses who observed the accident.

The officials also hope for information on the driving style of the motorcyclist and a driver driving next to him before the accident, as a police spokesman said on Wednesday.

The 61-year-old motorcyclist skidded and fell in the late afternoon on the Süderelbebogen at a point where two lanes converge.

He died of serious injuries at the scene of the accident.

According to previous investigations, a 66-year-old driver was driving next to him at the time of the accident, who only stopped briefly and then drove away.

He could be determined.

The police assume that both vehicles were traveling too fast.

It is still unclear whether there was contact between the motorcycle and the car.
