According to information to SVT, the six accused men are judged to be so dangerous and prone to flight that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's transports from the prisons to the district court will have extra staff and be escorted by the police.

During the course of the police investigation, the accused have been scattered in the prisons in Norrköping, Sollentuna, Huddinge and Gothenburg.

In addition to an extended security check to get into the district court at all, the police will also have stricter surveillance of the Garrison area during the days that the trial is ongoing.

Murder victims were members of criminal gangs

The indictment concerns a notorious double murder outside the nightclub Hugo in central Norrköping on 5 December 2019, as well as a fatal shooting outside a fast food restaurant on 10 April last year.

All victims had links to the criminal group No Surrender Mc.

The trial is set to begin on Wednesday, April 7.

Approximately 20 days of hearings have been scheduled and the trial is expected to end on 20 May.
