According to the new procured organization, ordinary ambulances with plenty of space will gradually take over the transports of intensive care patients who need to be moved to another hospital.

This coincides with the also new decision within the region that Helsingborg's hospital will only take care of a maximum of two covid patients with a need for intensive care.

The rest will be moved to the hospitals in Malmö and Lund by ambulance.

May arrange with own staff

But - if an anesthesiologist or anesthesia nurse is needed on the ambulance during transport, the hospitals must fix it themselves.

- We do not have the capacity to send with such resources.
