The Supreme Committee for the Management of the Coronavirus Crisis in Egypt decided not to allow the establishment of any Ramadan tables (the tables of the Most Merciful), as well as not to allow I'tikaaf or Tahajjud prayer in mosques, and not to allow Ramadan sessions to be held in open or closed places, with an emphasis on the prohibition of holding any large gatherings in Closed places, such as funeral pavilions, or ceremonies in the role of events.

On the other hand, the committee decided - during its meeting yesterday evening Tuesday - to allow prayers to be performed in mosques, including Tarawih prayers during the month of Ramadan, provided that all precautionary measures are applied, with a commitment to reduce Tarawih prayers, so that they do not exceed half an hour, and to resume various sports competitions for juniors , To give mathematical incentive to students of different educational levels.

The decisions were issued by the committee, which convened under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, and in the presence of a number of ministers and officials, to announce the rules and precautionary measures that must be applied and adhered to during the month of Ramadan, in the context of ensuring that some rituals - which Egyptians are accustomed to during the holy month - cause the occurrence A new increase in the number of people infected with Coronavirus, similar to what happened last year, according to the statement issued by the committee.

However, activists on social networking sites did not welcome some of these decisions, and some considered that there is a contradiction in preventing Tahajjud prayer, even though its visitors are often less than Taraweeh prayers, and some were surprised by the banning of the tables of Rahman in exchange for the continued opening of restaurants.

I would like to ask a question to His Excellency the Prime Minister: What

is the difference between the Tahajjud prayer and the Tarawih prayer?

And if it is not the slightest difference between them other than the difference in appointments?

Why is the Tahajjud prayer prohibited even though the worshiper goes to the mosque is committed to precautionary measures such as Tarawih prayer!

I wish they banned the prayer of tahajjud and sahur in the mosques and Ramadan tables because they pose a danger. They prevent the return of entertainment tents, Ramadan nights, paragraphs, songs, suhur and breakfast in tents, hotels and cabins.

Nor does it come to the poor, but the one who takes Ramadan from year to year in order to eat a decent morsel!
